In addition to the standard curriculum of Reading, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, we offer the following: Religion In religion classes, Roman Catholic doctrine, philosophy, scripture, and tenets of the Church are taught. Practical applications to modern daily life are made through discussions during religion and interaction classes. A commitment to the faith and a sense of spirituality permeate all activities throughout the school day. Sacramental preparation is done in coordination with the St. Patrick Parish program. Physical Education Students in grades 1-5 participate in one formal p.e. class per week; students in grades 6-8 have classes twice per week. Art Students participate in one formal art class each week. An Art Fair is held annually in May. Technology Students in grades 1-8 receive computer instruction weekly. We have a networked lab, a computerized media center, and computers in each of the classrooms. Music Students in grades 1-5 have a music period each week. All students, grades 1-8, participate in Liturgical Music. Guidance Programs Alcohol and drug awareness, communication and interaction skills are developed. Christian values are stressed as students learn how to solve problems and interact with others.
